Laser skin resurfacing removes damaged and flawed skin. It is particularly effective in reducing the appearance of acne scars.

When imperfections are deeply embedded in the skin, more than one treatment may be necessary.

Acne scar reduction treatment may be complemented by laser skin resurfacing treatments to stimulate the superficial layer of the skin to fill in the deficit. Topical microdermabrasion and medical grade skin care may also be recommended.
