BOTOX can last up to 4 months depending on the area that is treated but each person is different, so duration of results may vary.
A filler is an injectable gel that contains hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar found in the human body. The role of hyaluronic acid in the skin is to deliver nutrients, hydrate the skin by holding in water, and to act as a cushioning agent. Fillers help contour and add volume to areas of the face that can be diminished by aging and weight loss.
Micro Needling is a device that temporarily creates thousands of micro-channels which allows for better penetration and diffusion of topical products. It initiates the bodies healing response in order to increase production of collagen and elastin in the skin. This results in reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, an increase in collagen and elastin, and overall improvement of skin condition. This is an accumulative treatment, so a package of 3-5 treatments spaced 3-4 weeks apart will give you optimal results. LHR is permanent hair reduction, not permanent hair removal. Each treatment will result in approximately 20% hair reduction in size and density. It usually takes about 6 treatments to reach maximum reduction, with a touch-up or two yearly (depending on the fluctuation of hormones). LHR does not work on blonde, red, gray or white hairs; darker hair and lighter skin yields the best results. Schedule your complimentary consult to see if LHR is right for you.
A chemical peel has an array of strengths, from light exfoliation (mandelic or pyruvic) to medium depth (salicylic or Jessner) to deep exfoliation (TCA). The number of layers applied and strength used determines the amount of exfoliation that takes place. You may experience light sloughing to more of a “peel”. Your skin care consultant will determine which peel is best for you and inform you about post procedure outcomes.
Many people think sunscreens are only needed when going out in the sun, this is false. Incidental exposure adds up. Going to and from your car, sitting by a window at lunch, and even office lighting all add up over time. This is why wearing sunscreen everyday, all year long, will give you optimal protection. A minimum SPF of 30 or higher EVERYDAY, reapplying when needed (i.e., sweating, long sun exposure, swimming, etc.) is the best remedy to prevent extensive sun damage.
We respectfully request a 24-hour notice for appointment cancellations. If you need to cancel your appointment, please call the spa to let us know. For those who disregard this policy, a credit card number will be required to schedule future appointments. If an appointment is again cancelled or the patient fails to show up for the service with less than a 24 hour notice, a fifty dollar fee will be applied to the credit card.
