Skin tags are small flesh or slightly brown-colored tissue flaps hanging off the skin by a connecting stalk. They usually resemble moles and warts and are found almost anywhere in the body – face, back and underarms.
These harmless growths are usually correlated with age and obesity. These excessive growths can be irritating, especially when these are in areas where one needs to shave or are rubbed by clothing or jewelry.
Hemangiomas, which are commonly referred to as strawberries, are collections of extra blood vessels in the skin. Certain hemangiomas can be treated with lasers to stop them from growing.
A combination of high and low intensity lasers are used for the process.
